Day 605

Thursday. A lot of all kinds of routine and educational work. In the evening we had prayer in the church and family worship. This is a time when we share thoughts from the Bible, have discussions, pray. This tradition is important to us, although its beginnings were difficult. But today we can see the results.

Day 606

Friday. In the morning, I work on the editing of the film about the 600 days of war. Our brothers in the church are adjusting the heating system in the church. After lunch, I have an online meeting with the director of СBS in Europe. Later, I went to pick up the car, which was being repaired, and returned before the prayer in the church...

Day 607

Saturday.

In the morning, my sons and I went to a men's conference in Vyshgorod, in the church of the bishop of our region. We used to hold such conferences every year, but the last one was 5 years ago.

This year, the speakers were the Youth Pastor of the Kyiv region, the former senior bishop of Ukraine and the bishop of the region. We talked about the challenges of war and how to deal with them. The youth pastor talked about an interesting experience, how God showed him one problem that he was addicted to and that had a great impact on him - these are telegram channels with news that are constantly updated and take a lot of time. It was difficult for him to do it, but he did it. And at the end of the sermon, he suggested that all men clear their phones of news channels in social networks.

The senior bishop mentioned some interesting facts. For example: during the war, more than a million Gospels were distributed, 300 brothers from our union of churches serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also spoke quite critically about those citizens and Christians who left the country in the wrong ways and consider it God's will.

The conference was quite successful. We prayed for each other. Everyone received a commemorative chevron.

In the evening I was at prayer in my church.

Day 608

In the morning we were in the church. The heating season has begun in the church. We have a tradition of chatting after the service, drinking coffee. And we realized that our room in the lower hall is already too small. Despite the fact that today was not the highest number of people present in the church.

After the service, we started preparing for our youngest son's birthday party, grilled sausages and had a celebratory dinner. He is 21 years old.

We spent the evening in the church, where there was a family event. The speaker was invited from a nearby church and he spoke on the topic "Talk to Me", about the frank relationship between husband and wife. We again had more attendees than expected. There were people from other churches as well as refugees from Mariupol. They described the situation in the occupied territory. The situation is very difficult. The city is broken, Many new people have arrived, many Muslims have also arrived who are building mosques. Everything looks very foreign. Destroyed houses are simply demolished and new ones are built on the bones of murdered Ukrainians. The atmosphere is very oppressive. Most people won't go back there because of the extensive injuries they have suffered.

In the evening I worked on a film about the national retreat.
