Mothers Day 2025
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NIV)
WHY IS BEING CONNECTED IMPORTANT?
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.” John 15:1 (NIV)
STAYING CONNECTED PRODUCES FRUIT
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NIV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22 - 23a (ESV)
BEING DISCONNECTED PRODUCES NOTHING
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NIV)
“If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.”
John 15:6 (NIV)
HOW DO WE STAY CONNECTED TO THE VINE?
DO WHAT JESUS SAYS
“If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love…” John 15:10 (NIV)
LOVE LIKE JESUS LOVES
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12 (NIV)
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 (ESV)
